Number of seats available for MBBS course in Gujarat for CBSE student who belongs to ST category? Eligibility to apply in GUJCET?


Hi,
As my daughter studied in class 10 at present, we are of ST category by caste. Can CBSE student apply for GUJCET? What is the percentage of seats for ST category of CBSE Board for admission in MBBS in Gujarat?

GUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. It is a state level entrance test for medical stream.
To apply for GUJCET, a candidate must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) from a recognized board.
Also the candidate should be bonafide resident of Gujarat.
Yes CBSE student can apply for GUJCET only if the student is a bonafide resident of Gujarat.
For ST (Scheduled Tribe) category candidates there are 15% of the total seats are reserved in GUJCET.
