Is it possible to crack CA, if not good in maths?

I completed my 10th board exam. I have secured good marks in science, social and English, but I'm poor in maths but my aim is to crack CA. Is it possible to crack CA and what are the exams will be there for CA then CA is easy or hard.

Sorry to say but it is a bit difficult to crack CA if not good in mathematics as because the examinations for CA like CA CPT, CA IPCC and CA Final all consists of basic mathematics, Accounting.
So, in order to crack CA, you must be good in mathematics.
Since you have completed you 10th standard now, you have 2 years of time to practice mathematics and Accounting.
In order to appear for CA CPT exam which is a first step toward CA, you must have passed 10+2 standard or its equivalent from a recognized board of education. But you can register for CPT (Common Proficiency Test) to the Board of Studies of the Indian Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) after completing 10th standard.

Mathematics is necessary for Chartered Accountancy course. You will have to face problems in certain understanding of CA course without mathematics.

You can yourself short this issue by solving this issue by solving those sections which is needed in CA course.

Eligibility criteria for admission in Delhi University is B.Com is that candidate must have studied mathematics in 12th standard, otherwise they are not eligible for UG admissions.

Yes, it is possible to crack CA, if the candidate is not good in mathematics also. Mathematics is required to clear the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) to qualify for the CA IPCC. Candidates with graduation can pursue CA IPCC directly without clearing CPT. The mathematical knowledge is an added advantage for the CA aspirants. One should understand CA is a profession with numbers so, it is better to learn mathematics to pursue your career in the Chartered Accountancy profession. Candidates should be aware of interest, profit and loss, ratios, percentage etc. to pursue their career in CA profession.

Look, none of the course is hard and easy. It all depends upon the candidate that how much attention he/she is giving towards it and how much passion they are having towards their goal.
So, if you want to crack CA examination, just do not hesitate and start preparing for it.
You must opt Commerce stream in class 11th and 12th and after the completion of class 12th examination, you can apply for CA course.
After class 12th, you must have to qualify in the first stage of CA course which CPT examination. After qualifying in it, you have to qualify in the IPCC and then you have to qualify the final stage of CA to become a Chartered Accountant.

Maths is not compulsory for CA course, hence if you can study well and clear your basic concepts, then definitely you will clear the exams. Maths is definitely a plus point in such courses.

Those who are good in maths have advantages, but you can also crack it, if you really want to become a CA.

Yes, One can crack Chartered Accountancy exams even if he/she is not very good in maths but you still need a certain set of skills like calculating correctly and implying formulas. You should not run away from maths even though you are not good at it. Try to take up maths as a subject in 11 and 12 because that would certainly add up to your quantitative ability which you would need in Common Proficiency Test(discussed below).
There are 5 exams in Chartered Accountancy. Those are:
Common Proficiency Test which includes maths in a section called Quantitative Analysis for which you would need to prepare if you feel you are not that good. When you would appear the syllabus for this test would be changed. You need to score a minimum of 200 out of 400 in this test. The Business Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis and Statistics section is of 100 marks in which you need to score a minimum of 40 and you can make up for it in other sections of the test which include Principles of Accounting(100 marks), Mercantile Laws(60 marks) and General English(40 marks), General Economics(60 marks) and Business Knowledge(40). You need to score a minimum of 40% marks paper wise and 50% in aggregate.
Intermediate(1 and 2)
Final(1 and 2)

Cracking Chartered Accountancy is definitely not going to be easy. Generally, you need to put a lot of hard work and even then most of aspirants do not feel sure or are not able to clear exams in several attempts. But it obviously depends on your ability to grasp things, remember them and your own hard work.

CA course deals with numbers and it is advantageous to have good knowledge about mathematics. You should also remember that CA is a very tough course and it required ample amount of hard work and dedication to become a CA. Your weakness in Mathematics will add to the difficulty of cracking CA. You will also have to clear a mathematics paper in CPT foundation course and IPCC course. If you are unable to clear any paper in CPT or in IPCC level you will not qualify to the final level.

However it is never late to start hard work. It will be good for you if you try to improve your mathematical skills and knowledge. CA without mathematics is not going to be easy.
