Nice to see that you are interested to become Space Scientist after completing 12th standard. It mandatory that you must develop both the Subjective and Practical knowledge towards Physics and Mathematics subjects in order to become a Space Scientist. Once after completing the applicant must apply for B.E/B.Tech in Astrophysics, Galactic Science, Space Defense etc. Most of the reputed Engineering colleges offering B.Tech or B.E courses through the s entrance exams like IIST, JEE, and BITSAT etc. Apart from this you can apply for M.Sc IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) to become a Space Scientist. Since, you have completed 12th standard so I suggest you to apply for B.Tech or B.E in Aerospace or Aeronautic Engineering.

Space scientist is normally a scientist who works in the space to study the different areas of space like satellites, weather etc. It is really a demanding field in India and actually more in abroad.
After completing class 12th, you can do graduation of space research after giving IIST exam or you appear for certain entrance exam like ISAT which has certain space related courses in it.
You can even opt Aeronautical Engineering which is considered to be a backdoor of becoming a space scientist. To become an Aeronautical Engineer, you have to appear entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT JEE etc.

All the best.
