Re: Should I repeat 12th to appear in JEE Advanced if secured 58.7% in 12th CBSE?
To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination, the candidate must have completed 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognised board and must have appeared, qualified and secured top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination. The candidate must have secured minimum aggregate of 75% marks in 12th standard or must be in top 20 percentile of high scorers of 12th standard board examinations. Since, you have secured an aggregate of 58.7% in your 12th standard, you need to improve your percentage by appearing in improvement examinations to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination.
