Re: Should I repeat 12th to appear in JEE Advanced if secured 59% in BSEB Board?
To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination, you must have secured top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination and must have secured at least 75% (70% for SC/ST) aggregate marks in your 12th standard board examinations or you must be in top 20 percentile hgh scorers of your 12th standard board examinations. If you are having less percentage than required to appear in JEE Advanced examination, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. If your 12th board conducts improvement examinations, you can apply for that examinations, so, that you can improve your percentage to be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced examination.

Quote:
If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for JEE Mains exam 2016. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates. Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years. |

Hi,
A lot of students reappear for 12th. You can totally give the exams again and apply for JEE next year. If you cross the cut-off, you’ll be eligible for advanced.. |
