My son is 9 years old and studying in 4th standard in CBSE school. I want to know that at what age he is eligible to give 10th Board examination? Please let me know immediately.

The minimum age required to appear in CBSE 10th standard Board examinations is 15 years. So, if your son is pursuing 4th standard at the age of 9 years, by the completion of 10th standard, he will be attained the age of 15 years. So, he is eligible to appear in CBSE 10th standard Board examinations.

The minimum age required to appear in CBSE board 10th Class Exam is "14 years" and the maximum age must not exceed 16 years as on 31st March of the year in which his admission is sought.

* 9th year - 4th Class
* 10th year - 5th Class
* 11th year - 6th Class
* 12th year - 7th Class
* 13th year - 8th Class
* 14th year - 9th Class
* 15th year - 10th Class

Since your son meet the required age criteria to give CBSE board 10th Class Examination, you do not need to worry at all. The exact age of a candidate who gives their 10th Class CBSE board Examination is "14 to 16 years". At 15 years of age he would give CBSE board 10th Class Examination.

My daughter's date of birth 20th January 2009. She studying in 4th standards of Techno India Group Public School CBSC BORD. I want to know this age is appropriate for this class or no.Because most of the students in 4 standard is born either 2008 or 2007.Please help me what i do. If i drop one year?
