What is the age critera for pre LKG/nursery my son born on aug.24, 2013 will he is eligible to admit in school 2016 april from j&k (sunderbani) rajouri? It would be really helpful if you can answer me back as soon as possible for the same.

Age Criteria required for Pre LKG/ Nursery admission in CBSE Board:

Yes, your son is eligible to get admission in Pre LKG or Nursery admission in CBSE board. So as far as his age is concerned, I am sure that you are eligible to get admission in Nursery. The age criteria required is given below.

>> Minimum Age Required for Nursery Admission : 2 years 6 months

>> Maximum Age Allowed for Nursery Admission : 3 years 6 months

As he completed 2 years 6 months already, I am very sure that you are certainly eligible to get admission in Nursery with this age.

The minimum age required for a child to get admission in Pre KG/Nursery in CBSE school is 3 years. According to the information you have specified in your query, it is clear that your son is 2 years 9 months old. So, he is not eligible to get admission in Pre KG/Nursery in CBSE school/

The minimum age required to get admission in LKG in CBSE school or any other school is 3 and half years. So, I would like to suggest you to get admission to your child only when she attained this much age.

Age criteria for admission in CBSE school:-

The minimum age limit set for admission in lower kindergarten or LKG is 3 years and 6 months and it should be completed on or before 31st May. Age for admission in LKG : 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months

I am sorry to say that your son is not eligible for admission in LKG/Nursery as he has not attained the age of 3 years and 6 months. which is the minimum age criteria for any candidate for admission in LKG/Nursery in CBSE school.

So, I would suggest you to wait for one more year and the try for admission after your son has attained the above mentioned age.
