My son date of birth is 04/06/2013. I want to get his admission done in CBSE board nursery class. Please tell me what is the age limit for admission in Nursery in CBSE board?

He is not eligible to take admission in Nursery class because minimum age required is 3 years to get admitted in CBSE schools. You can admit him in the next year.

The minimum age required for a candidate to apply for Nursery admission is that the candidate must have born between 1-10-2011 to 30-09-2012.

The candidate should have attained a minimum age of 3 1/2 years to 4 1/2 years as on 31-03-2016.

Maximum Age Allowed - 4 1/2 years

Age Criteria is concerned as on 31st March of the 2016 for getting admission in Nursery class in CBSE School. Since your son completes 3 years on 4th June 2016, he is not at all eligible to get admission. But remember, if you want get admission done by 3 years of age, then I strongly suggest you to join him in Pre Nursery class as minimum 3 years age is required and considered as on 1st June, 2016.

The minimum age required for getting admission in CBSE Nursery is that the child must have attained the age of 3 years. Since, your son is nearly 2 years 7 months old, you cannot him in Nursery right now. So, you need to wait five more months to join him in CBSE Nursery.

3.5 years to 4.5 years.

So, your son is not eligible but he can take admission in the next class i.e LKG

My son born in 8/09/2013 and CBSE school given admission in nursery in the year June 2016 -17. Now they are telling that he want to sit one more year in the same class bcz of age difference.

Yes, your son is eligible to get admission in nursery CBSE board. The minimum age required in schools minimum 4 years. That's why you can easily take admission in nursery.
