AISSE stands for All India Secondary School Examination. It is a centralized public examination that students who belongs to CBSE affiliated schools take up after completion of their 10th standard. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the AISSE during the period of March–April every year. Generally students are tested on English, Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Dances and other optional subjects. Candidates who perform well are awarded with AISSE Secondary School Completion Certificate, a Statement of Marks and a Migration Certificate stating that the candidate can pursue higher education and has completed Secondary Schooling.
CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. It is a Central Education Board which offers education from Class I to Class IX in CBSE affiliated schools. |

CBSE : Central board of Secondary Education
AISSE : All India Secondary School Exam (Class X) CBSE is central education board in India which is recognised by Ministry of Education. It is most popular board in India. AISSE is a centralized public examination belong to CBSE-Affiliated schools in India. This examination is for 10th passed candidates. Students are tested on mathematics, English, Science, Social Science, Politics, Arts, Dance etc. Candidate who passed this exam are rewarded with AISSE certificate. AISSE certificate and Migration certificate state that the candidate can pursue higher education and has completed secondary schooling. |

The All India Senior Secondary Examination (AISSE) is similar to the CBSE. But AISSE takes the exams after 10th class for the schools belonging to the CBSE.

CBSE is Central Board of Secondary Education which is one of the biggest education board of our country.
AISSCE is All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination which is conducted by CBSE for class 12th. Hence, difference is simply CBSE is a educational which conducts AISSCE for 12th class. |

Both are educational boards providing education to candidates however, the basic difference between the two is that CBSE board provides admission to srtudents from the basic classes itself, but AISSE(All India Secondary School Examination) board provides admission to candidates after 10th, i.e. in class 11th.

After completing 10+2 a student need to complete his/her graduation in B.Sc to take up the MBBS course. & graduation should be done from a valid university. After 12th whether from CBSE or from any other board you cannot take admission directly.

My son' school has cbse syllabus but there is an option fr AISS for afternoon shift for the students who are poor in studies or the one failed in class 9th are eligible to go to 10th...i am totally confused about this because some are telling that AISS is not very recognised ...please clarify.
