To join in Indian army,airforce,navy wright NDA exam.
NDA eligibility:
*Candidates should pass in 10+2 in any recognized board.
* pass maths and physics in 12th.
age limit:
*age limit is 16-19 years only.
*no relaxation age.
sex: only male candidates are eligible.
NDA exam patterns:
*priliminary exam.
*main exam.
*interview,physical test.
NDA wings:
Indian army,
Indian navy,
Indian airforce.

* Only Male candidates are eligible

* Only Unmarried Male can Apply for NDA.

Female candidates are not eligible to join NDA. Applicant must be an unmarried male candidate. Girls can join defense after graduation. For this, they have to qualify CDS exam conducted by UPSC. Qualifying the test, allows applicants to join OTA. Upper age limit is 24 years.

I am sorry to say you that girl candidates are not eligible for appear in National Defence Academy(NDA) examination as per eligibility criteria set by UPSC for NDA.

Only Unmarried male candidate are eligible for appear in NDA having age 16.5 to 19 years.

But you you really wants to join Defence as a girl candidate you can apply for the post of Officers Training Academy(OTA).

For That you have to appear for CDS entrance examination.

You can appear for CDS after obtaining graduation degree.

Sorry girls are not eligible for NDA exam as per the notification of the UPSC. Only unmarried males can apply for NDA exam.

Being a girl and you want to join Indian defence then you have to study till Graduation. For Graduate girls there is defence jobs in our country.

So don't be sad and take admission into graduation without wasting your time. With the Graduation you can start preparing for CDS exam which is available for females after completing Graduation.

Indian Naval Academy : 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy : 19 to 24 years

No, Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA which is only meant for Male candidate.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

In near future Girls may be allowed to join NDA which is now under considerations of Government of India.

Girls as interested for Defence Services may apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) after Graduation Defree within the age of 19 to 25 years.

i am sorry to inform you that girls candidates are not eligible for nda,
though it should not be there but unfortunately girls are not allowed for entry in army after 12th,

but don't loose hope girls can also enter in army but after graduation through cracking cds,

cds stands combined defence services, it is conducted by upsc for graduates entry in army for following posts :

1. Indian air force
Indian navy
Indian military academy
4.officer's training academy

INDIAN AIR FORCE :
must be a graduate and studied physics & maths in graduation
age limit is 19-23 years

INDIAN NAVY :
must be a graduate and studied physics,maths in graduation
age limit is 19-22 years

INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY :
must be a graduate in any stream
age limit is 19-24 years

OFFICER'S TRAINING ACADEMY :
must have completed graduation from a recognized university
age limit is 19-25 years

so there is no restriction for any candidate for cds whether a girl or a boy, all students are eligible for cds if they fulfill above criteria,

Sorry to say that girls candidates are not allowed for the upsc

National defence services exam as for this exam only the male

candidates are allowed but if you want to join the Indian Force

than on the basis of your graduation you can go for it means

you have to write the combine defence services exam for it as

officer's training academy comes under this and for ota both the girls as

well as male candidates are allowed

No, a girl can not apply for NDA exam, only boys can apply for this exam.

You can apply for CDS exam after graduation, but only for OTA

OTA - officers Training academy

OTA is one of the branches of Indian Defence, which female candidates can join after qualifying CDS examination.

Eligibility for CDS exam ~~

You should be a graduate from a recognised university.

Your age should be between 19 years to 24 years.

You should be unmarried.

Stages of CDS exam ~~

The exam is conducted in three stages –

Written exam
Interview
Medical examination.

This is indeed appreciable that you wish to apply for NDA being a a girl. It seems that you are not properly informed about the same. I need to inform you a few things about NDA the examination and who all are eligible to apply for the same.

As you might know that NDA stands for the National Defense Academy and its one of the most widely attempted examinations in India. Being conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year, in the months of April and August.

In the beginning of this post, I must inform you that GIRLS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE NDA Examination. I have to say this it being the truth. No girls are ever allowed to take up this examination because of rules laid down by the government of India and of course the UPSC.

To take part in this examination, there are a few eligibility criterias that need to be met by the applicant. The most important ones are listed as follows:

1. The applicant must be an unmarried male Indian.
2. The allowed age is within 16.5 years to 19 years only.
3. Only the 12th pass or appeared candidates can apply for this examination.
4. Now the science students are allowed to take up any of the wings of Army, Air Force or Navy but the Commerce and Arts students can only opt for Army.
5. Last but not the least, physical fitness is a must for the NDA selection.

So as you can well see, the criteria clearly mentions that Only male candidates may apply for this exam. I am really sorry to state that you cannot apply for NDA.

However if you are a graduate, you can well apply for the AFCAT, or CDS - Combined Defense Services. They are also entries into the defense for different posts. Click Here to know more.

NDA exam for the Unmarried male candidates only. It is not for the Girls .Girls can eligible to apply for the NDA exam. If you want to join the Indian defence field there are number of the ways for you. First you have to complete the graduation from the recognized college .Then you are eligible for the Indian Navy Logistics Branch.

# Indian Navy Logistics Branch – In this department Women can apply .You can join it through the SSC (Short Service Commission).Through this you can join in the Indian navy Logistics Branch.

Education Qualification : You have to complete the Graduation in the B.Sc /B.Com / ICWA / catering technology

ATC
in the Indian Navy department.

# Naval Architecture Cadre – You can also apply for the Naval Architecture cadre in the Indian Navy .The Naval Architecture Cadre is part of the Technical Branch

Education Qualification – You have to complete the graduation in the field Mechanical / Civil / Naval Architecture etc.

Age limit - For the Final year candidates 19-24 years and for the pre-final year candidates 18.5-23.5 years
