I have 6 years experience in IT industry. Now, I want to shift to teaching job, but I do not have a B.ed degree. My qualification: B.Sc PGDCA.

Can I get a teaching job in Private school?

Yes, you can get a teaching job in private schools on account of your vast experience and qualification even tough you do not have a B.Ed degree. Although most of the schools are opting or preferring B.Ed degree holders yet there are provisions for non B.Ed degree holders too.

However, the salary will not be very high and will also depend on the school where you are seeking job as well as the classes you take. In general cases, the salary usually ranges between 10000 - 20000 per month.

Hi,as your holding good experience in IT field ,first you can go for private instiutions to gain experience,you can teach computer science related subjects like c ,c++,java ,core java & other courses which your up to .
Then on you can apply private engineering colleges & they don't need B.ed degree or else you can teach in schools ,as now a days so many private schools hiring IT related candidates for children for teaching technology .
