Well, a number of seats for B.Tech in Mining Engineering are based on various factors like Number of students applying for B.Tech, Rank Wise etc. It may differ from college to college. However, being a Diploma in Mining Engineering student, you are eligible to apply for B.Tech through lateral which means you can directly eligible to enroll B.Tech 2nd year after completing a Diploma. To get admission through lateral entry you required to qualify in the Lateral entry exam which is conducted by the respective university. So, please don't worry, you are definitely getting seated for B. Tech in Mining Engineering course.
