Can we get graduation from delhi university distance for ssc exam for income tax officer? How much salary is their for income tax officer

Yes, you can apply for SSC exams after graduation.

Salary of Income Tax Officer :

Basic Pay is from Rs. 9300-34800/-.
Grade Pay is Rs. 4600/-.
DA Approx : Rs. 9035/-
HRA Approx: Rs. 1390/-
MA : Rs. 200/-

So it will vary from Rs.23,000 to 30,000 in starting. Also some allowance depends upon place of posting.

-Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/-
-Grade Pay: Rs. 4,600/-
-Initial Pay: Rs. 9,300/-
-Total Pay: Rs. 13,900/-

Yes, you can apply for the Income tax Officer through SSC exams. But to become an officer you must study hard because SSC exams is not so easy to pass. Do not look for the salary first, look how you can become officer. Once you become then can easily achieve good salary. Salary for the IT officer:-

Grade Pay- INR 4600/-
Pay scale- INR 9300 - 34800/-

Note:- After the 7th Pay Commission it will be increased a lot. But when it will be announced can not say now.

-Grade Pay: Rs. 4800/-
-Initial Pay: Rs. 9,500/-
After 4 years of service Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-
