Can I study Part Time PhD in Anna University being an English postgraduate?

You have completed M.A in English so you are eligible for Ph.D course.

Eligibility criteria for Ph.D course in Anna University:-

If you have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university then you are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria.

If you have got 55% marks in M.A then you are surely eligible for admission in a part time PH.D programme from Anna University. You have to apply according to the notification of the university on a prescribed format when the admission is announced.

There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category. If you have qualified exams like NET/SET then you have too chance of admission in your choice of university.
