Possibility to study B.E.(Aeronautical Engineering) for Diploma Electrical Engineer?


Sir,
I have just completed my Diploma in Electrical Engineering. I like to study now B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering. Is it possible for me? Please guide me.

Sorry, to say that it is not possible to study B.E (Aeronautical Engineering) course being a Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering. Only candidates who have completed three years Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering or 12th standard with PCM stream from a recognised board are eligible to study B.E (Aeronautical Engineering) course.

Yes, surely you are eligible for applying the B.E in aeronautical engineering after completion of your diploma in electrical engineering. I am saying this because the eligibility criteria for admission in B.E. in aeronautical engineering states that a candidate must have to pass 12th or diploma from any well affiliated institute. Also you must not have any backlog in your last qualification.

Yes, it is possible to study B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering after Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Manipal Institute of Technology. The eligibility to study the course is a pass in 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the State Technical Education board. The aspirant has to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university through online. You can apply online for the course. You can find the details in the website link Click Here.

No, diploma in Electrical Engineering candidates are not eligible for B.Tech/B.E in Aeronautical Engineering.

Those candidates who have completed diploma in aeronautical engineering from a recognized university are eligible for B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering.

Your age should be above 17 years.
