Hi sir, I have a query in my mind, Please solve my query as soon as possible. Can I join ISRO after finishing diploma in mechanical engineering?

Yes, you can join Indian Space Research Organization after successful completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Course. Generally the minimum qualification required to be eligible for joining ISRO is "Graduate Degree" or Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. But with the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering qualification, you can apply for ISRO Technical Assistant or Technician Recruitment.

For Technical Assistant or Technician Recruitment:

>> Selection Process: Written Test followed by Interview

>> Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

>> Minimum Qualification Required: First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Course.

After completion of diploma in Mechanical Engineering, you can join in ISRO.

Those candidates who have completed diploma course with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for ISRO entrance exam.

Eligible departments are,

Electronics & Communication engineering
Mechanical engineering
Computer Science & engineering
Chemical engineering
Electrical engineering

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

Pattern for ISRO exam:-

Section A: 100 questions based on you stream of engineering.
Section B: 50 questions is on following topics :
Analytic skills
Current affairs
General awareness.

ISRO is a space agency of an indian government. Diploma holders can get job in ISRO on technical assistant post.

Eligibility to get job in ISRO:
-- Candidate must have completed diploma engineering with minimum 60% i.e first class.
-- No backlogs in diploma.
-- Age limit is 21-32 & age relaxations for OBC is 3 years & 5 years for SC/ST.

Selection procedure contains two stages. First you need to appear for written test base on diploma syllabus. Once you comes in merit list then you they will call you for personal interview.
