Can I get concession in Education loan if my father is a tax paying government employee?


Sir, I am studying MBA against Education Loan of Rs. 5 Lacs. My father is a government employee. He pay income tax also. He is a guarantor against this loan and pay interest. I want to know that I get any deduction in education loan?

Sorry to inform you, but you can not get any type of concession in Education loan whether your father is a tax paying government employee. Public sector banks do not have this type of policy in education loan.

Public Sector banks provide concession of 0.5% in interest rate to girl students.
