Hello everyone, I would like to know that what kind of qualification is required to apply for the post of Assistant Manager in IBPS RRB VII recruitment of 2018? I want to know about the eligibility criteria as well. Can anyone let me know about this?

The basic educational qualification required to apply for IBPS RRB VII Assistant Manager (Officer Scale I) is given below,

Qualification Required:-

@ You must have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

@ You should have proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs

@ You should have working knowledge of computer and this is desirable.

@ Minimum age required - 18 years
@ Maximum age allowed - 30 years

Eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I recruitment :

Age of the applicant should be minimum 18 years and must not be more than 30 years an candidates belongs to reserved to category will be given relaxation in upper age which will be provided as per rules of the government of India which is maximum 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD category candidates.

Educational Qualification : Candidate must have completed bachelor's degree course from a recognised university and preference will be given to those candidates who have achieved the degree with specialisation in any of the following course from a reputed university : Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Agriculture Engineering/ Pisciculture/ Agriculture Marketing and Cooperation/ Information Technology/ Management/ Law/ Economics/ Accountancy.

Candidate must have knowledge or local language of the state which he/she is apply for means if you are applying for this recruitment from Maharashtra state then you should know reading, writing and speaking Marathi Language.

Candidates should have good knowledge of operation of computers such as MS Office, Internet Access/ Word Processing and other relevant work with typing. The board may demand certificates of computer course of minimum 3 months from candidates if it is found necessary at any stage of the recruitment.

Eligibility and qualification required to apply in IBPS RRB VII Assistant Manager recruitment 2018 :

• Age of candidate must be between 18 to 30 years as on 1 June, 2018. Relaxation is also provided to reserved category candidates. Relaxation is provided as follows :

1. OBC Candidates : 3 years
2. SC/ST Candidates : 5 years
3. Ex-Servicemen Candidates : 5 years
4. PwD Candidates : 10 years

• Candidate must have graduation degree from any recognized university. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation degree.
  
• Candidate must be proficient in the language of the state from which he/she is applying.
  
• After selection candidate have to undergo training of 2 years, known as Probation period. After completion of training candidates will be promoted to Assistant manager post.

Officer Scale III = 21 – 40 Years D.O.B between (03.06.1978 to 31.05.1997)
Office Assistant (Multipurpose) = 18 – 28 Years D.O.B between (02.06.1990 to 01.05.2000)

IBPS RRB Age Relaxation Criteria 2018:
1.SC/ST- 5 years
2.OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 years
3.Persons With Disabilities (PWD)- 10 years
4a. Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen (for the post of Office Assistants)
the actual period of service rendered in the defense forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subjects to a maximum age limit of 50 years
4b. Ex- servicemen commissioned officers, including ECOs/ SSCOs (for the post of Officers) - 5 years
5. Widows, Divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried(only for the post of Office Assistants)-9 years
6.Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 -5 years
7.Persons affected by 1984 riots -5 years
