Hi,
The Eligibility criteria for Bank PO examination is Graduation in any stream with 55%-60% marks from a recognized university. Some of the Banks don't demand this percentage.
The age of the Candidate should be between 21-30 years.
The Salary of PO varies from Bank to Bank.The starting basic pay + DA would be around Rs. 17000/- (In SBI it would be around Rs. 20000/-) apart from various other perks such as HRA or lease accommodation, conveyance allowance, cleansing material, entertainment allowances etc.

TO be Eligible for any Bank PO you need

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : (AS ON 01/07/2008)
(a) Educational Qualifications:
General Candidates and others - 60% or more marks in class XII and 55% or more marks in Graduation or
Post Graduation.

2. Age - Not below 21 years and not above 30 years
Selection Procedure in SBI is given below:




a) Tier I - Preliminary Examination : Time 2 Hrs. (combined)

Candidates will be called for an objective type examination. The objective type examination will consist of i) Reasoning Ability Test, ii) Quantitative Aptitude, iii) General Awareness/Computer Knowledge, iv) English Language. Question paper will be in bilingual form i.e. in Hindi and English except the test of English language.



b) Tier II - Main Test* : Time 3 Hrs. (combined)


This will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination.


The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of :

i) Test of Reasoning

ii) Data Analysis and Interpretation

iii) Marketing Knowledge

iv) Test of English Language

Any Graduate Candidates are eligible for Bank PO examination.

And Its true that the Eligiblity criteria are vary from bank to bank. But If you have graduate candidates in any stream from a recognised university then you are eligible for bank PO examination.

As Per the Current Notification of SBI bank PO examination, Only graduate candidates in any discipline are eligible to apply for bank PO examination, there is no minimum percentage eligibility criteria to apply for SBI bank PO examination, But your age should between 21 to 30 years.

But Many other banks wants 55% to 60% Marks in your graduate degree course. So, if you should have pass the Degree with 55% marks in any discipline from recognized institution or equivalent degree examination, then you are eligible for Bank PO examination.

Final year Candidates are also eligible for BANK PO examination.

Pay scale are also vary from bank to bank, But Please check the given SBI bank PO Pay Scale. The starting basic pay was Rs 14,500 in the scale of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. And At present, initial monthly emoluments of Probationary Officers, including D.A., H.R.A. and C.C.A., are approximately Rs. 23,520/- at Metropolitan centres.

For bank PO
eligibility is:--

* candidate must graduate or appear exam

* age - 21 to 30 years
relaxation as per govt. rules

PAY SCALE:-

14500 to 27000

TA,DA,HRA all are including this.............

Age should be between 21 to 30 years

Expected Salary:

The eligibility for bank PO varies from bank to bank.

Eligibility for Bank PO:

Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (for SC/ST/PC- 50%) in aggregate from a recognized university.

Note: Computer qualification like Diploma in computer operation NIIT, SSI. Aptech, CMC, DOEACC, course/ certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc etc.

The salary also varies from bank to bank.

Normally the salary varies from 14,000 to 25,000.

Salary for Bank PO Officer :


If your selected po officer then you get starting salary approximately 10, 000 to 15,000 per month . it will increase according to your experience and talent in your work .

Eligibility Criteria: General Eligibility Criteria for appearing in Bank P.O. Exam are mentioned below:
Candidate must be India National
Have a graduate degree recognized from UGC in any stream.
Must have attained age of 21 years but not completed 30 years of age.
Knowledge of working with computers.
Selection Procedure: Bank P.O. Examination is a 3 step examination.

Step 1- Preliminary Examination- This is 2 Hr Multiple Choice Type / Objective Type test. Questions are asked from following study areas:

Reasoning Ability Test
Quantitative Aptitude
General Awareness/Computer Knowledge
English Language
Step 2- Candidates who qualifies in Step 1 are called for Step 2, i.e. Mains Examination. Both Multiple Choice Type and Descriptive Type questions are asked from following study areas:
Test of Reasoning
Data Analysis and Interpretation
Marketing Knowledge
Test of English Language
Note : The Descriptive type examination will be a test of English knowledge - Time 60 Minutes

Step 3 - Group Discussion & Interview:
Only for those candidates who find place in merit of Step 2, Mains Examination.



SALARY;During probation period a Bank P.O. receives approximately INR 12000/- They are also eligible for various other benefits like D.A., H.R.A., and C.C.A. Etc. as per rules applicable from time to time. In metropolis salary is approximately INR 17000/-

Bank PO eligibility criteria:-

The main eligibility criteria for the same is that you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a rezognized university.

You should try to maintain minimum 55% at graduation level and that your age should be between 21-30 years.

Exam pattern of po exam:- reasoning 50 marks, quantitative aptitude 50 marks, general awareness 50 marks, general english 50 marks and computer knowledge 50 marks.

There are two types of Po exams those are

IBPS PO EXAM

SBI PO EXAM

19 banks are comes under IBPS exam to recruit the candidates to post of PROHIBITORY OFFICER in there banks.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IBPS EXAM:

Candidate should complete graduation from a recognized university.

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years.

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates

5 years for SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen o0f india.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SBI PO EXAM:

Graduate students are applicable

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years.

upper age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years.

5 years for SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Written exam

Interview
