You have only mentioned about your stream but haven't given information about your qualification. Because the entrance examination you need to give to join Indian Army depends upon your qualification.
If you have only qualified higher secondary exam, you will have to write NDA exam, whereas, if you are a graduate, you will have to write Combined Defense Service Exam and both the examinations are conducted by Union Public Service Commission, usually referred as UPSC.
For NDA exam, you need to be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years- 19 years, whereas for Combined Defense Service Examination, you must be within the age limit of 19-24 years. Both the examination are conducted twice a year and the notification regarding them is published on the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

Yes, you can join in Indian Army with commerce stream.

You have not mentioned in which degree you have completed in your study.If you specify your qualification,then we can tell you which exam is best for you.

So,if you are a graduate then you can apply for CDS exam.

Eligibility crite4ria for CDS Exam :

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Candidate must have passed graduation from recognized university.This exam does not require any particular subject in graduation degree.

age is between 19 to 24 years.

Or,you have passed higher secondary exam than you can apply for NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam :

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age is between 16.1/2 to 19 years.

candidate must have passed the higher secondary from any recognized board.

CDS or NDA exam conducted by UPSC every year.
