Syllabus for combined defense services exam ?Procedure for recruitment in Indian Air Force?

I am currently in 6th semester and will graduate in B.Tech (Electronics and Telecommunications) in 2013. I want to join the Indian Air Force as a Flying Officer.
1. What is the syllabus for the combined defense services exam?
2. What is the procedure for recruitment in the Indian Air Force?
3. When should I appear for the exam? And how many times can I do so?
