The candidates who have completed their 10+2 standard can take the following exams for joining INDIAN ARMY
National Defense Academy (NDA)
Combined Defense Service (CDS)
Technical Entry Scheme test

there are two exams to join Indian Army .the first exam is NDA which is conducted by union public service commission twice every year as NDA-1 and NDA-2.The other exam is CDSE which is combined Defense services examination.

these exams are conducted to get admission in the three defense forces of India namely:
---->>army
---->>navy
---->>Air force


the eligibility for both these exams are different which is described below.....

Eligibility for NDA

~You should have passed or appearing candidate of XII Exams from a recognized university.

~your age should be from 16.5 to 19 years.

~only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

~candidates having PCM as their subjects can apply for all defense services.

~candidates having non-Engineering background can apply for Indian army only.




Eligibility C.D.S.E

~You should atleast be a graduate in engineering to join Indian army.

~you should be a citizen of India.

~your age should be b/w 19 to 25 years.

->girls are not eligible for NDA .

->unmarried man are eligible.

>you should be an unmarried citizen of india

->Exam pattern:-

>paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
>paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
>part A is english of 200 marks
>part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
>so total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session on the basis of which you are chosen,so,always prepare the interview session carefully and give it with full confidence.

You can give entrance exam like NDA & CDS to join Indian Army depending upon your qualifications.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, THE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC TWICE EVERY YEAR.

The candidate interested to join Indian Army must be an unmarried Indain male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE, THE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC TWICE EVERY YEAR.

In order to join Indian Army the candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection for both NDA & CDS are through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.
