sir i have completed my BE in civil engg and i am doing my Mtech in highway technology. I am 22 yrs old, I want to join indian army and for that please let me know the exams i have to appear for and the schedule of exams.

There are plenty of jobs for girls in indian army.
a graduate can go for ssb and becone lieutinant...there are special vacancies coming for gils ...one can check at army navy or airforce sites.

And as far as engineers are concerned ,,,the defence dies to take them at any cost...one can become an engg in army navy airforce and vacancies are out from time to time for both girls and boys...

Girls can only apply for the Indian Army as an officer after the completion of their graduation through Combined defence service examination and if your are a engineering student then you can also apply through Technical graduate course(TGC) entry after the completion of your engineering. Both the entries are described in detail below:


Combined defence service examination(CDSE)
This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination you should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
Indian Military Academy 19-23 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years


Technical Graduate Course(TGC) Entry

After passing M.Tech if you want to join Indian Army then you have to qualify the O.T.A exam.

OFFICER TRAINING ACADEMY

O.T.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Age limit for O.T.A exam is 19-25 year.

Both Unmarried boys ad girls are eligible for this exam.

This exam is conducted under the name of Combine Defence Services

There are three stage of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical Exam.

After passing B.Tech you can join Indian for this you have to qualify the entrance exam called as Officer Training Academy exam.

O.T.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year...
