Structure of Gauhati University Department of Business Administration Entrance Exam

The admission process for the MBA program in Gauhati University consists of three stages which include a written test, group discussion and interview.  First the candidates have to appear for a written test. Eligibility Criteria

Any candidates who have a Bachelors degree in any subjects with 50% marks from Gauhati University or any other recognized University will be eligible to apply for the Gauhati University Department of Business Administration Entrance Exam. The candidates who have passed CAT/MAT/XAT/ ATMA with 75% marks need not attempt the written test. They can attend the interview directly. Final year graduate students can also apply for the test but they have to satisfy all their educational requirements before the time of admission.

The application form for Gauhati University Department of Business Administration Entrance Exam can be obtained directly from Office of the Secretary of Gauhati University by the cash payment of Rs.150. The interested candidates can download the application form published in the official website of Gauhati University www.gauhati .ac.in. The candidates can obtain the form by post by sending a letter and a demand draft of Rs.150/- in favour of the Registrar of The University with a self addressed envelope.

How to fill the Form?

The form filling instructions are provided in the exam prospectus obtained with the application form. Any error in form filling leads to the rejection of the form.  The photograph of the candidates should be pasted in the place provided. The details of the fee payment should be mentioned. Make sure not to staple or fold the form. Also do not attach any other documents to the form. The duly filled form should reach the concerned authority before the due date. The demand draft of Rs.150/- should be sending with the filled application form. The demand draft should be taken only from any SBI branches. It is the responsibility of the candidates to send the application form before the due date.
