The Indian citizen candidates who have completed their B.Sc program with Physics as the main subject and not less than 60% marks in Physics major from any institutes of North Eastern India are eligible to apply for the Gauhati University M.Sc Radiological Physics Entrance Test.

How to Apply?

The candidates can obtain the application form along with the prospectus from Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati by payment of Rs. 500/-. The payment has to be made in the form of Bank draft drawn in favour of the Director, Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute which is payable at Indian Overseas Bank of Gopinath Nagar Branch. Application form can also be obtained through post for which a request accompanied by self addressed envelop with postage stamp of Rs. 35/- affixed on it and DD of Rs. 500/- has to be send. One can also download the application form from the official website of the University www.gauhati.ac.in or Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute website www.bbcionline.org.

How to fill the Form?

The application forms have to be filled carefully and legibly by ones own handwriting. One has to make sure that, there is no cutting, over writing or erasing in the application form. Each and every column has to be filled without committing any errors. All the necessary information regarding filling up of the form will be explained in detail in the application prospectus. The applicants are advised to go through that before filling the form.

    I am appearing the B.Sc. Physics(major) final examination in march of 2012 under gauhati university. I have 68% of marks in Physics upto B.Sc. part two having mathematics and computer science as subsidiary subjects. But i passed the h.s examination with physics, chemistry and computer science. Am i eligible for getting admission in M.Sc. physics?????? plzzzzz reply….
