Geospatial Delhi Limited was established as a registered companies under Companies Act, 1956. The registered office of the company is located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The major objective of the company is to frame and implement policies for issues related to the geospatial data in the National Capital Territoy of Delhi. The company is also determined to provide geospatial information for the benefit of all citizens of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The institute utilizes the contemporary and emerging technologies to attain the above specified objectives.

Job Profile:

Geospatial Delhi Limited invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant posts of Geospatial Associates/ Assistant. Selection of candidates will be made through the conduct of a Walk-In-Interview test that will be held on specified date. Candidates will be recruited purely on contrcat basis for a peiod of one year initially. The period of contract may get extended for a further period of one year depending on candidates performance.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Geospatial Associates/ Assistant in Geospatial Delhi Limited. The maximum age limit set for the post of Geospatial Associates/ Assistant is 40 years.Candidates having age more than the prescribed maximum age limit, will not be considered eligible for the post. However, there may be relaxation of few years for the reserved categories candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess B.E. or B.Tech or M.E. or M.Tech or MS in Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university. Candidates with M.Sc. degree in Physics or Maths or Geology or Earth Science or Geomatics or RS& GIS or equivalent are also eligible to apply on specified posts. Candidates must have studied atleast one subject related to GIS during their course. However, candidates with Diploma in Geomatics or GIS or RS & Surveying or Photogrammary or Urban Development will get preference over others. Minimum 5 years experience in the development of Geospatial solutions for governance is also required for the post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 25000/ Rs. 20000 per month.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Walk-In-Interview test on the basis of their applications. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated about the Walk-in-interview test that is going to be held on 5 March 2012 from 10 AM onwards. Candidates are required to perform well for the interview test in order to secure their selection for the specified post.

How to apply: Candidates are required to bring all the documents (original as well as photocopies) at the time of Walk-In-Interview. Uneligible candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Walk-In-Interview test. Candidates will have to appear for the Walk-In-Interview at the following venue:
