Industrial Biotechnology is an exciting and new approach for preventing pollution, reducing costs and resource conservation. If this branch of biotechnology develops to its full-potential, then it will have larger impact on the world as compared to other branches of biotechnology like agricultural and health biotechnology. B. Tech in industrial biotechnology is a four-year degree course that is offered by only a few colleges in India.
