Medical college:

Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital located in Varanasi, came into existence in the year 1965 and the college is offering Ayurvedic medical course through its association with Sampuranand Sanskrit University located in the city of Varanasi. The college is permitted to admit 40 students per year to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences course and for seeking admission to this course, candidates must have completed their higher secondary with chemistry, biology and physics subjects. The duration of the BAMS course offered by the college is five-and-half years.

Government Girls Polytechnic, Varanasi came into existence in the year 1990-91 and initially the college offered diploma course in electronics engineering alone.
