Agricultural Engineering is a blend of principles of biological sciences and engineering and it is otherwise called as biological engineering. The field of agricultural engineering combines other fields like chemical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, plant biology and animal biology. Qualification requirements:

For getting into the Bachelor of Engineering/Technology course in Agricultural engineering, candidates must have completed their higher secondary with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects. For getting into the PG courses in agricultural engineering, candidates with UG course in appropriate disciplines are eligible to apply.

Government jobs in agricultural engineering:

Since agricultural engineers are offered with knowledge in fields like food processing, soil conservation and agricultural mechanization, etc… professionals in this field can find job opportunities in both state and central government organizations and for finding government jobs, candidates will have to take up different examinations like Staff Selection Commission and Union Public Service Commission.
