Admission Procedure for B.E/M.Tech in NSIT

In order to seek admission for B.E, it is essential for candidates to appear AIEEE and to secure a valid score in the same. They are offered with admission through a counseling process. Before attending this process, it is compulsory to deposit a counseling fee of Rs 1, 000/-. This amount can be deposited (as cash) using a fee challan form downloaded from the college website. Fee payment can be done through any of the branches of Andhra Bank. Once the counseling fee is deposited, applicant should go for an online registration process.  Candidates need to correctly enter specific details in the online registration form such as AIEEE roll number, AIEEE application form number, counseling fee details, candidate name, date of birth, nationality, 12th class marks percentage etc. A confirmation message will be given, if finished the registration procedures successfully. The next step is to fill the subject specialization choices for B.E program. Final selection of eligible candidates is done after evaluating AIEEE score and 12th class marks.

For M.Tech course admission it is necessary for candidates to clear Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with a good score. A selection committee is appointed by the institute to coordinate with M.Tech selection procedures. The selection process for M.Tech course in NSIT is as follows –

• Weightage for GATE score - 80%
• Weightage for Interview /Viva Voce – 20%
