The Jindal Law School is one of the recognized institutes in India. This university is a part of the reputed O.P. Jindal Global University and has recognition from the Bar Council of India. The admission to the LLB program of JGLS is through LSAT- India. This examination is carried out by the Law School Admission Council. The institution offers LLB course for graduates. In addition to this, they also provide a five-year BA LLB program and a two-year LLM program.

Eligibility Criteria for JGLS LLB Course

The eligibility needed to join the five years LLB program is a pass in class 12.  A minimum of 50 percent marks should have been scored by them. As for the 3 years LLB program, aspirants must have a pass in graduation in any discipline. Students must have scored above 45 percent. Those who have appeared for their final degree exam can also apply for this test.

Admission Procedure for JGLS LLB Course

To get admittance into the LLB course, students ought to have appeared in the LSAT exam. This Entrance Exam is carried out generally in the month of May.

Structure of LSAT

The LSAT exam is intended to examine the reading skills, management skills and presence of mind of the aspirants. The Entrance test includes four sections. The first two sections consist of reasoning questions and the remaining two sections consist of reading comprehension and analytical reasoning questions. The time fixed for each section is 35 minutes. There is break of 15 minutes between section 2 and section 3. The Entrance test consists of objective kind questions with multiple choices. Registration Process for JGLS LLB Course

The registration process has two steps. Students can either apply by the online method by visiting www.pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia. The fees for registration is Rs. 3500/-. This can be paid by DD or by online itself. Those who wish to register by the offline way can get the form by post. They must send a DD of Rs. 1000/- alongside the request letter. Fees structure of JGLS LLB Course

The program fee for each year is Rs 6, 00, 000 a year. An additional Rs 1, 00, 000 should be paid each year for the purpose of dining, laundry and use of Residence hall.

Scholarships provided by JGLS

Students who top the LSAT exam will be given the O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarship. The award is Rs. 1 lakh each.

  • Shallu Jindal Outstanding Women Scholarships - Rs. 2 lakhs (2 students from LLM course)
