IFS Mathematics (Paper I) Papers
Union Public Service Commission or UPSC conducts the exam for IFS or Indian Forest Service. IFS exam is of reputed standard as candidates recruited are offered the prestigious post in the office of IFS. Thus IFS exam has its own importance.
Division of the Paper:
There are two sections in the paper, namely Section A and Section B. Section A and B, both have four main question.
Paper Pattern:
The first section has four main questions, the first has six sub-questions, out of which candidates have to attempt any five. The remaining three main questions, is divided into four sub-questions. In the section B, the first main question carry six sub-questions, out of candidates have to choose any five. The second main question again is divided into four sub-questions and the third and the fourth main questions are divided into three sub-question. The First main questions is compulsory from each of the section is compulsory to attempt, whereas candidates have to attempt any three from the remaining, with at least one question from each of the section.
Markings:
The total mark offered is two hundred. Section A and Section B, each carries one hundred marks. Each of the main questions carries a maximum of forty marks.
Time Allotted for the examination:
The time allotted for the paper is three hours.
