The IITB-Monash Research Academy has their base in Mumbai, India. This exciting partnership is between the illustrious Monash University, Australia and the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). They are two of the internationally acclaimed educational as well as research institutions. They together have decided to initiate a collaborative approach to ensure that students get a once in a life time opportunity to carry out research. This research concentrates on Engineering and Science in the Australian university by way of a scholarship provided jointly by these two institutions.

Students who are selected for this scholarship will get the opportunity to carry out their research a proficient team of academicians as well as students in any ne of the following research themes:

• Biotechnology and Stem Cell Research
• Clean energy
• Infrastructure engineering
• Nanotechnology
• Water

Upon completion of this research, students shall also get the chance to work closely
