Indian Institute of Management, Shillong
Indian Institute of Management, Shillong is also known as Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management and was established in the year in 2008 by the Government of India. It is one of the latest IIM’s to be established but has been already recognized to be one of the best Management based Institute in the entire nation and entering the league of IIM, Kolkata and IIM, Ahemedabad. The Institute is dedicated for providing high standard of management based education and bringing an up-liftment in the North-Eastern part of the nation.
Infrastructure and Campus:
The campus area of the Institute is not so huge, 0.5 square kilometers or 120 acres in size, but has been uniquely designed to conceive several features. Presently, the Institute functions under the campus of North Eastern Hill University, but the allotted area by the Government are been under construction up with great pace.
Courses Offered:
This elite Institute of the North-Eastern India offers a two year PG based degree in the course of Business Administration. The Institute is also planning to offer the degree of Ph. D in several important subjects including Finance, Economics, Marketing, etc. The College also plans to offer Executive MBA program in the recent years.
Admission Procedure:
The candidates have to appear for CAT, through admission is conducted. The candidates who have surpassed a minimum of the cut-off percentiles in the above exam are then called for Group Discussions as well as Personal interview. Those who have achieved the highest of the marks in all the three subjects are admitted in the different programs for its 100 odd seats.
Placements:
The candidates are recruited in some of the best companies in the world, namely, Deloittes, E&Y, KPMG, Pw, Viacom, Warner Brothers, HDFC, Standard Chartered, SBI Cap, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bosch, Ford, Hero Group, ONGC, etc.

After cat exam do i have to apply at each iim individually for MBA programme
Would like to know about the fee and prospectus
