ISAT (IIST Admission Test) Eligibility Criterion
IIST otherwise called the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is one among the pioneer institutions in Space Technology. The institute offers diverse courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD level. Undergraduate courses are offered in areas of Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Science (related to Space). The admission to the courses is done on the basis of entrance exams carried out by the institute itself. The candidates applying for the entrance exam should possess certain eligibility criterion. Those who possess the essential qualifications have to apply through the official website of IIST or through postal method. The candidates who pass the written exam are called for further selection process.
Qualifying Examinations for ISAT (IIST Admission Test)
The basic qualification required to attend the test is pass in Higher Secondary Board Exam or any other equivalent exam. The candidate has to obtain the qualification from any of the reputed educational institutions with at least 70% marks. There is relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates. Those candidates should possess 60% marks to attend the entrance test. The entrance test covers the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics included in the syllabus of the XII class. At present, there exist a total of 156 seats (for B.Tech courses only). Among this Aerospace Engineering and B.Tech in Avionics are offered with 60 seats each where as the rest is reserved for Physical Science.
Age Qualification for ISAT (IIST Admission Test)
Before applying for the entrance test, the candidate has to ensure whether the age falls with in the limits as mentioned in the notification. Those candidates who are under the age of 25 are eligible to apply for the entrance test.
Who can apply for ISAT (IIST Admission Test)?
Only those candidates possessing Indian citizenship are eligible to apply for the entrance test.

The application forms can be submitted through online method only. First of all the candidate has to download the fee payment form from any of the above-mentioned links. The fee for the same must be paid through any of the branches of SBI or PNB. Once the fee payment is completed, the candidate can start filling the application form. Upon submitting the filled application form, a page, covering the entered details will be displayed. The candidate has to take the print out of the same for future reference.

hello sir i am doing second year bsc with physics-math now.can you please suggest me the various course in isat after bsc.
can i sit for iist admission test after doing maths hons from St. Xavier`s College, kolkata in 2012?
