Eligibility for admission in iist college? ow much should i get in ISAT entrance exam?what are the subjects that i have to concentrate on?


I am an F.C candidate.I'm doing my 12th standard and my board exams are commencing on 1st of march.I wish to study in IIST college in the branch AEROSPACE ENGINEERING.How much should i get in ISAT entrance exam?what are the subjects that i have to concentrate on?and i wish to know the syllabus too......how many students are appearing for isat this year?please do reply me...

ISAT Dates 2010
In the academic year 2010-11, admissions to the Undergraduate program will be through the IIST Admission Test (ISAT-2010).
1. Schedule of ISAT 2010
ISAT 2010 Examination will be held on Friday, the April 16, 2010.
•Paper-I: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon (IST)•Paper-II: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (IST)ISAT 2010 Test Schedule will remain unaltered even if the above date is declared a public holiday.

eligibility-
70% in 10th class.
atleast 70% in each of phy,chem, and maths in 12th.
but dear last date was 31st jan,10

u have to apply for iist online......
all the deatils should be furnished online .....n the main subject u maust focus is physics....
as far as the no of aspirants are concerned it is definetly quite less than aieee...but enough ones to compete

dear friend, to take admission in iist college, you have to get minimum 70% above marks in 10th or 12th class with compulsary subjects like physics, chemistry and maths......but the last date of apply for this college was over, so apply next session.

any relaxation in board percentage criteria as it depends on respective board ,how they checked copies
like

I appreciate your aim. For that you have to write the iist entrance exam which would be conducted a month after your plus two board exam. But you can write the exam only at KERALA as the exam center is there.If you qualify the exam , you can join the Valiyamala university in kerala free of cost.You also have an assured job there.

Everyone is asking you for cut off marks. What is the minimum marks to score in each subject to be eligible for IIST? However no one is able to guide us on this.

a STUDETN APPAERING IN =2 EXAMINATION OR ONE WHO HAS ALREADY PASSE IT

and is under the age of 19 years can

sit for the IIST examination.

depending on his/her performance in the exam

he may get admission in one of the 3 courses of

IIST,

you can register on the official website when forms appear.

Respected Sir, i got 8.4 marks in CGPA system and got 65% marks in 1 class science stream with maths.now i doing my 2 standerd.is i m eligible for ISAT exam.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), the first Space University of Asia, offers courses from undergraduate to doctoral level in Space Science and Technology.
IIST currently offers B.Tech programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.


ISAT is an All India Admission Test, open to all eligible students who have completed the prescribed qualifiying examination under the (10+2) pattern from a recognised board or pre-university. Question Paper framed for ISAT is of objective type and consist of three separate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

I am attaching here the syllabus as well as the ranking procedure.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research(IISER) at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthpuram offers you five years BS-MS Dual Degree Program.

The admission in the institute is going on and it provides the 5 years BS-MS and Ph.D levels in Sciences of Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Interdisciplinary areas.

Five years contain:


1st-2nd year :core courses in basic sciences.

hello, to appear in isat exam 70% is required in both 10th and 12th ? or if in 10th is less than 70% and in 12th is more than 70% then is it eligible ?
