ITM University organizes PhD Entrance exams annually for admitting eligible students into various Doctor of Philosophy courses offered there. The University conducts PhD in Computer Applications Entrance Test for admitting students into Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Applications course offered there. The selection will be strictly on basis of the score in this entrance exam.

Structure of ITM University PhD in Computer Applications Entrance Test

The exam will have 2 parts. The first part will have questions from General analytic skill, mental ability and also from reasoning. There will be questions from English Communication Skill as well. The second part includes questions from the subject. In the 1st part there will be objective questions. 4 alternative choices will be given for each question. This part should be completed within 45 minutes. There will be 60 questions carrying a total of 240 marks. 4 marks will be given for each right answer and 1 mark will be reduced for wrong answers. In the second part there will be objective questions and descriptive questions related to the subject. There will be 40 objective questions and 8 descriptive questions. Out of these 8 descriptive questions 4 questions have to be answered. Objective questions have to be answered within 30 minutes and descriptive questions have to be answered within 1 hour. The total marks of this section will be 260. The grand total marks of this exam will be 500.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants who have secured at least 60% marks in the Post Graduate level in the subject or its related areas can apply for this entrance test. The qualifying degree required must be obtained from any recognized University.

How to apply?

The fees for applying for this exam is Rs.300/-. The admission form can be submitted online and also offline. The applicant has to take a DD of Rs.300 in favor of Registrar, ITM University, Gwalior which is payable at Gwalior. After taking this DD, they can apply online or offline with these details. In the offline mode, the form and necessary data have to be sent to the address mentioned.

How to fill the Form?

The admission form must be filled up carefully after going through the instructions in the brochure. The personal information and also the official data have to be entered with great care. The latest photograph of the applicant must be pasted in the correct columns. The signature should also be put in the proper places. The form should be sent at the right time so that it reaches the correct place before the mentioned date.
