The Jeppiaar Educational Trust was established in 1987 and was the founder of Jeppiaar Engineering College on 15th August 2001. The college offers various degree courses to the students and is affiliated to the Anna University. The college provides excellent education facility to its students and also helps to distribute all sorts of study materials. Students have to clear an entrance exam in order to get admission in various courses.

Infrastructure:

The college campus is situated at Jeppiaar Nagar, Chennai and spread in an area of 48 acres of space. Admission Procedure:

The minimum qualification required for appearing in these courses need to clear 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, from any recognized state/national Board. The students have to qualify TNPCEE/AIEEE test for appearing in undergraduate programs.

Placement:

The college has very good reputation in training and placement department. The students of this college have been placed in various IT companies and Core companies of India. This college provides 90% of the successful students with an average salary of around 2.75 lakh per annum.
