Joyrambati Ramkrishna Sarada PTTI (Primary Teachers’ Training Institute) came into existence in the year 2004. This is a co-education type institute that works under the control of an Educational Trust managed by Srimat Swami Sri Sibarupananda Maharaj.

The institute is situated in Bankura locality of the West Bengal State. The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has approved the institute and it is also recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. The institute offers state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities and qualified teachers for offering excellent education.

Courses offered:

The Joyrambati Ramkrishna Sarada PTTI offers the diploma course in education and the course extends to a period of two years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed a graduate degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, are eligible to apply for the D.Ed course. Admission for the course is made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The admission is made strictly based on the norms of the NCTE and West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

Infrastructure:

The institute offers the facilities such as canteen, labs, library, activity room, learning resource center, and outdoor & indoor game facilities. The college library is well-equipped with sufficient number of books related to education. The laboratories of the college are well furnished with modern equipments. The classrooms of the college are well furnished and equipped with sufficient furniture and teaching materials and the classrooms are airy and spacious. The college has separate hostel for girls and boys and the rooms in the hostel are well furnished with necessary facilities. The college offers excellent outdoor & indoor game facilities for the students in order to develop their sports talents as well as their physical health.
