Profile:

Subordinate Services Commission was re-designated as Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 26th September, 1977. Making recruitment to Group C and Group B posts in departments of Government of India is the main responsibility of SSC. Nine regional/sub-regional offices located at different states of India consitutes the network of Staff Selection Commission. A Chairmen assisted by two members and a secretary or controller of Examination, heads the commission.

2. Recruitment of Laboratory Assistant (Geology) Grade-II:

Age Limit: Candidates must be in between 18 to 27 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

3. Recruitment of Laboratory Assistant (Geology) Grade-III:

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

4. Recruitment of Laboratory Assistant (Geophysical Workshop) Grade-I:
