Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission has called for applications from appropriate candidates for various positions like lecturer, reader, etc… for working for its Ayurvedic and Homeopathic departments. The details regarding the notification issued by the commission in this respect is given below:

Name of the Position: Lecturer and Reader positions for Ayrvedic and homeopathic departments

Number of positions: Total number of vacancies is 26, divided as follows:

For Ayurvedic Department - 21

Pay Scale: Pay scale for original lecturer positions is Rs.15600-39100 + GP of Rs.5400, while the pay scale of carry forward position of lecturer is Rs.8000-275-13500. Pay scale for the carry forwarded reader positions is Rs.10000-325-15200.

Eligibility Conditions:

Education: For lecturer positions in Ayurvedic Department of UP, candidates must have completed their five-year degree course in Ayurveda from a recognized university. In addition, candidates must possess PG degree in appropriate subjects and candidates must possess adequate knowledge of English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages.

For reader positions in Homeopathic departments of UP, candidates must be recognized degree or diploma holders in homoeopathy. Age requirement: Candidates must be between the age group of 25 and 40 years of age for lecturer position and between 28 and 45 years of age for reader positions. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per rules.

Application fee:

The prescribed application fee of Rs.80 for general and OBC category candidates and Rs.40 for SC/ST candidates, should be paid through the E-challan provided in the notification page at http://uppsc.up.nic.in/View_Enclosure.aspx?ID=505&flag=E&FID=77 through any branch of SBI of PNB before the 7th of October 2011.
