Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology was established as a full fledged agricultural university in the year 2000. The university is located at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and is considered as the first agriculture university of the third millennium. The university actually came into existence under Uttar Pradesh Agriculture University Act 1958 under Government of India. The inauguration of the university was done by the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The university provides various Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses to its students.
