Exam Pattern of Mathematical and Physical Science Entrance Exam
Those who have passed Bachelor of Technology or Science from any of the reputed institutions are eligible to apply for the integrated PhD courses in IISc. This may include questions on Physics and Theoretical Computer Science. The time duration allotted for the entrance test is 3 hours. The question paper includes a combination of easy and difficult questions. The easy questions carry one mark each where as the difficult ones carry 3 marks for each question.
How to procure application form for Mathematical and Physical Science Entrance Exam?
The application forms for the admission test can be collected through any of the following methods

- Post
- Banks
One can collect the application form from the University counter by paying the required application fee. The application form can also be obtained from branches of certain banks mentioned in the notification. The direct payment of fee is applicable in this method also. There is option to collect the same through postal method. In this case the applicant has to pay the fee amount through bank in the form of DD. Then they can send the request to procure the application form by enclosing the DD with it. Those who submit the application through online method have to pay the fee prior to that of submission of application.
