MBA (Biotechnology) Admissions in Pune University
MBA (Biotechnology) is one of the management programs offered at Pune University. Selection to the course is done on the basis of ATMA score, group discussion and personal interview. ATMA is a national level test conducted by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). Based on the score of ATMA, candidates are short listed for GD and personal interview. GD and personal interview are conducted by Department of Management Studies, University of Pune.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA (Biotechnology) in Pune University
Graduation is the basic qualification required for admission. Final year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof at the time of admission. The degree must be obtained from a recognized University in any of the following subjects.

Selection Procedure for MBA (Biotechnology) in Pune University
Eligible candidates can have admission to the course on the basis of AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), GD and personal interview. Members of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) are the responsible for organizing the test. The objective model test can be attended through online mode. Structure and pattern of the test is same as that of GMAT. The test basically measures the aptitude of the candidate for higher management education. It may comprise of questions on verbal skills, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning.
Short listed candidates (on the basis of ATMA score) should pass another two rounds for final selection. These two rounds, GD and personal interview, are conducted by Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune.
Application procedure for MBA (Biotechnology) in Pune University
Prospectus containing application form can be collected from the office of Pune University. Application fee for attending the test is Rs.900/- for open category candidates and Rs. 700/- for reserved category candidates. Fee must be paid in the form of demand draft. DD must be taken in the name of the Registrar of Pune University.
Application forms can also be collected by post. To receive the application through post, candidate must pay an extra amount of Rs. 50/- along with the usual application fee. For this they must send a request along with fee in the form of demand draft.
Collected application form must be filled up correctly and submitted to the address of Pune University along with necessary documents. ATMA score card, copies of degree mark lists, caste certificate, etc are the main documents that must be submitted along with the application form.
