i have done B.COM(program) DU from but now i want to do MBA but confused from which University to do it?
tell me which is best university for doing MBA Between SYMBIOSIS,PUNE UNIVERSITY & SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY(SMU)?
SYMBIOSIS gives PGDBA(post graduate Diploma in business admimistration) while SMU provides MBA degree..??
tell whether there is value of PGDBA or not in job market??
plzz RPLYY asap...explain answer in detail

Between Symbiosis and Sikkim Manipal University certainly Symbiosis is the better choice. It figures amongst the top institutes in the country. The PGDBA course offered by the institutes is equivalent to the MBA course. Also it has a good value in the job market. PGDBA is considered better than MBA due to the flexibility to change syllabus as per the recent trends.

Symbiosis, Pune University or Sikkim Manipal University for MBA

Symbiosis has more value and better reputation than sikkim manipal university.However if you want to go in teaching line or in a line
where degree is more important than diploma ,than you should go for sikkim manipal university whereas if you want
to work in business environment/administrative job than PGDBA will be more suitable.

There is no entrance test in Symbiosis MBA Distance Learning program.

Eligibility for applying in PGDBA is graduate from recognized university with 50% marks.

Four specializations are available.
marketing
human resourse
operation
finance

Fees- 50000/- around for whole MBA.

Forms available -may/June.

form fee cost -1100/-

Duration of course -minimum -2 years
maximum-4 years.
Total subjects and papers to be cleared in- 20.

Classes -very few paid classes are there in the MBA Symbiosis correspondence.

Go for MBA. A degre is always a degree and SMU degree is recognised by UGC and AIU. Symbiosis is also good but in my opinion go for a degree as you have work ex :)

Go for SMU because it gives u MBA degree which is recognized by UGC, DEC, AITCE and SCDL course is not recognized... therefore u have problem in futher when u apply for any govt. sector or private sector....

Go for MBA from SMU or any other university which is recognized by UGC, AITCE and DEC and SCDL is not recognized with the above only it is recovnized with DEC and it provides PGDBA which has no value at Govt. Sector... so definately go with MBA recognized course only SCDL had a brand name Symbiosis....and PGDBA is a post graduate diploma and MBA is a master degree... i have done PGDBA from Symbiosis and it has no value at all...

Before to get enrolled for MBA with any institution, I am searching all the things relevant, like;
1) study material - books and soft copies to learn anywhere
2) classes - on centre or online
3) value of that course in the job market
4) exam pattern - written or multiple choice online
5) course structure
6) fee

And for this checked amity, symbiosis, SMU, jnu, ksou, tasmac, annamalai and many more.
Finally I as conclusion, feeling unable to decide..which have more value in job market ..symbiosis or SMU ...all other points I can decide except this ...value in job market of distance MBA for which university or institution..... Plz guide me ...thanks in advance .....
