Pune University 2010 MBA Biotechnology
Pune University provides MBA in Biotechnology course which is a 2 year full time course. The admission to the course is conducted by Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), University of Pune. PUMBA was established in 1971. There are 60 seats in the MBA(Biotechnology) Program of Pune University. Pune University has been accredited with grade A with 5 stars by National Council of Assessment and Accreditation.
The admission is conducted in two phases. First the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in ATMA Test. The shortlisted candidates are then called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which final selections are made.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any of the following courses:

Chemistry
Life Sciences
Marine Biology
Microbiology
Zoology
Agriculture
Ayurved
Medicine
Engineering
Pharmacy
Technology
Veterinary Sciences
Availability of Application Forms:
The forms will be available in PUMBA Office.The form can also be obtained by post from PUMBA Office by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.
Important Dates(Tentative):
Availability of Application Forms: Uptil April 3rd week, 2010
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: April End, 2010
Group Discussion/Personal Interview: June 1st week, 2010
Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates are shorlisted on the basis of their ATMA scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for Personal Interview and General Discussion. The final selections is done on the basis of the combined score in ATMA, PI & GD.
