The Master in Computer Applications is meant to provide students with the necessary training needed for students to develop applications for industrial and commercial uses. The time period of this course is 6 semesters. Those who apply for this program can finish their studies within 8 years from their year of admittance to the course.

• Personal Contact Programme (PCP)

This program will be carried out for the total period of 29 days in each semester. This is arranged in different session in all other semester, excluding the VI semester. It is important for all students to appear for the Personal Contact Programmes. They will only be eligible to appear for the final exams if they have more than 80 percent attendance in practical as well as theory classes. Attendance certificate shall be given to students at the completion of each course.

Admission Process for MCA in Annamalai University

Admission to the MCA program is done on base of an entrance exam held by the Annamalai University. The eligibility requirements to apply for this exam are:

Students who have studied mathematics at the 10+2 or graduate level can apply.

Students who cleared their graduate level course in computer Applications (BCA) can apply.

Those students who have not studied mathematics during their intermediary class, Diploma or graduation will have to go for the bridge Programme for the period of a week.
