Graduates having a minimum of 60 % marks from any UGC recognized universities are eligible for Master of Computer Application in SRM University. The course covers topics such as Digital Computer fundamentals, Grid Computing and database management system etc. Admission to the course is done through entrance exam, called SRMEE / TANCET. Eligibility Criteria for admission to MCA in SRM University

Candidates who have completed graduation in any of the following subjects from any of the recognized universities are eligible to apply for the course.

• Bachelor of computer application
• Bachelor of Science in (computer science/ mathematics/ physics, statistics / applied science)
• Bachelor of Commerce
• Bachelor of business administration
• Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor of technology

Candidates should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in higher secondary level. Candidates having a minimum of 60 % marks aggregate marks in qualifying degree are eligible to apply.

Admission procedure to MCA in SRM University

Admission to the course is based on the performance in the entrance test called SRMEE, conducted by the University. The entrance test will be conducted all over India. The duration of the exam is two and half hours. There will be objective type questions from topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. There will be negative marking for every incorrect answer.  Apart from this, candidates having valid score card in TANCET will also be considered for admission.
