The Institute is one of the most recently established NIT’s and has a mentor College as National Institute of Technology, Assam. The college was established after the NIT act was passed in the year 2007. The College has an overwhelming teaching staff that has been chosen hand-picked to be amongst the most qualified in their class. The Institute has been regarded as the most sought after NIT’s in the country that have an awesome placement record since its establishment.

The Infrastructural facilities in this College are world class and have been designed in such a fashion that suits the evolving nature of the candidates. Courses Offered:

This Institute offers Under Graduate degree in most of the Engineering streams namely Civil Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, etc. The Institute has also announced planning of other PG based courses such as MBA, Ph.D and even M.Tech in selected engineering streams.

Admission Process:

The candidates have to appear for an Entrance Test called AIEEE or All India Engineering Entrance Examination. The candidates who have secured the best of the ranks are administrated the final admission after a brief session of counseling.
