Panjab University is one among the premier universities of the country. The university was initially established in1882 at Lahore, Pakistan. The university offers several under graduate, post graduate, doctoral and diploma courses. These courses are open for candidates all over India. Admissions to these courses are made on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the university annually. Candidates should clear this test in order to get admitted in the college. Structure of Panjab University PhD Industrial Chemistry Entrance Exam

The PhD Industrial Chemistry Entrance Exam conducted by the Panjab University consists of two pares. Paper 1 is objective type with multiple choice questions, while paper 2 is subjective type. Paper 1 contains 50 questions which are to be answered in one hour. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking. Paper 2 consists of 10 descriptive type questions each carrying 10 marks. The maximum time allowed is 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry or any related field with a gross aggregate of 55% are eligible to write the Panjab University PhD Industrial Chemistry Entrance Exam. A relaxation of 5% will be given to SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply?

Application forms for the Panjab University PhD Industrial Chemistry Entrance Exam Centers can be collected directly from the university office by remitting a cash amount of Rs. 1800/-. A concession of Rs.900/- is given to SC/ST candidates. Alternative method to obtain application forms is to sent a request to the university asking for the application form along with a demand draft of Rs.1900/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST students). Dully filled application forms must be addressed to the Manager, Publication Bureau, Panjab University, Chandigarh – 160014. (The demand draft must be drawn in the favour of The Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh)

How to fill the Form?

Candidates must visit the university website before filling the form. The website contains all the relevant details about the course. Application form must be filled with proper care and no columns must be left vacant. The completed Application forms along with the Acknowledgement Card, Admit Card and  Two Self-addressed stamped envelopes must be addressed to The Assistant Registrar, CET CELL, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall (Near Post Office), Panjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh – 160014 on or before the due date.

    Myself Kuldip Sharma , M.Sc ( industrial Chemistry) 2001 pass out with distinction,having about 11 years of working experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing want to do Ph.D in Industrial Chemistry,can I do part time Ph.D. I am residing at DeraBassi & can attend evening classes or sunday classes.
